Export Compliance Solutions (ECS)

Training & Audits:

• Provide comprehensive in-house export/import training seminars at the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels;
• Draft Export Control ITAR Compliance Manuals;
• Perform periodic ITAR compliance audits to ensure the integrity/existence of a compliance program;
• Conduct specialized training for those interested in the duties of a Compliance Officer or Empowered Official;
• Validate company adherence to export/import licenses and other approval conditions/provisos;
• Provide guidance to companies on the D-Trade Automated Licensing System

Licensing Services & Outsourcing

• Offer guidance on jurisdictional judgments to determine whether items are controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR);
• Prepare Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) requests, Advisory Opinions for proviso reconsideration and other associated correspondence;
• Draft requests for Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA's), Manufacturing Licensing Agreements (MLA's), licenses and Warehouse Distribution Agreements (WDA's)in a 48 hour period;
• Review and recommend use of ITAR exemptions;
• If necessary, meet with USG officials at State, Commerce and DOD;
• Act as your Washington representative for issues of concern.
